Anooraq is a North American listed, Black Economic Empowerment ("BEE") company with significant mineral assets on the Bushveld Complex of South Africa. The Company combines North American management, financial and technical expertise with the depth and capabilities of South African business and mining professionals.

Anooraq is working in partnership with Anglo Platinum, the world's top PGM production company. Given its standing in South Africa and its holding of significant unexplored properties, Anglo Platinum represents an ideal partner. Anooraq, drawing on HDI skills in deal-structuring, worked out a unique and highly opportunistic transaction with a South African company to become a BEE. Today, Anooraq has two major joint venture programs underway with Anglo Platinum.

Anooraq's business strategy is to:

•Become the first BEE mining house in South Africa by initiating production at the Boikgantsho and Ga-Phasha Projects

•Benefit from its BEE status with preferential access to mining assets, through participation in new projects in South Africa

•Develop an ongoing portfolio of projects

•Continue to create partnerships to advance PGM developments
